How can you tell the difference between a licensed contractor and a non-licensed contractor?

You should be able to get a list of licensed contractors from your state contractor's board. In California we can get them online.(more)You should be able to get a list of licensed contractors from your state contractor's board. In California we can get them online.
Do you feel it is okay to give a referral for a company or person if you have not actually done business?

So for me it is more about reaching out to others and letting them know how I differ from others. Being a new business, it is a process in building relationships crucial to keeping my pipeline full. I have seen more results when I take more action in reaching out to my community and not waiting around for them to stumble into a store they don't know about. I am in the process of overcoming challenges at the moment. I'll fill you in when I get there.

The best salespeople do the following regardless of their personality traits. They Train in sales frequently. Join an online training program, or a sales boot camp. Listen to sales podcasts and audiobooks. Read sales books. Role play with a friend or a coworker. Consistency. They show up everyday to insure their customers have everything they need. You are providing a product or a service for that customer. So punctuality and attendance are vital. They use several mediums to contact their customers. Personal visit, cold calls, voicemails (always leave one no matter what), emails, handwritten letters, social media, and video text messages (my favorite). Use them all. They care more about their clients than their own sales numbers. People buy from people still. Provide them with amazing service and you’ll be successful. Make yourself an industry expert. Always study and learn more about your business. Your customers will lean on your wisdom and insight to help them make decisions. There are many things listed, and not one of them says extrovert or introvert. It’s irrelevant if you’re taking actions to ensure success. Good Luck, Jared Candelaria Sacramento, Ca
